What I’m Doing Now

Inspired by Derek Sivers’ idea of a Now page, this is my little snapshot of the present rather than a full biography.
It’s where I keep what I’m doing, what I’m playing, what I’ve been thinking about, and what I’ve finished. Think of it as dropping in for a mug of tea and catching up on what’s changed since last time.
Doing
Writing book three—”The Girl Who Was Owned” is the deepest dive into the network. Coercion, control, compliance and ultimately erasure. It follows the deepest grief that was caused not by what was done to me, but by what I was never meant to remember.
Paused on book four—“The Girl Who Made It Out” is the breath of fresh air, the journey of reclamation, healing and rebuilding a life after the unthinkable. As I was trying to shoe-horn words in that didn’t fit, I realised another book, “The Girl Who Was Owned” needed to come first.
Running online workshops for therapists and writers—covering abuse, trafficking and DID from the inside. Four workshops (and associated programmes) for therapists, and one for writers who want to convey the subject with sensitivity and accuracy.

Floral Themes
I honestly hadn’t clocked that floral themes run through everything I do. My books have flowers on the covers (forget-me-nots, cherry blossoms and a dandelion head on my third book). I wear a forget-me-not ring to commemorate Maria. And my Kuan Yin tattoo is holding cherry blossoms.
I knew, of course, that I used floral themes, but I hadn’t realised how deep they went. Maybe it’s when I updated the section separators in the latest impressions of my books to match their theme?
