You know what’s interesting?
My credit on my EP says “Piano, Guitars & Programming”
But for the longest time I thought I’d never be able to play the guitar…
A few times in my life I was given a guitar and NEVER got along with it.
Finally just before COVID, maybe 2019, I picked up a ukulele and kind got along with it okay… and then it was a LONG journey to guitar from there, via 5 string banjo and Irish bouzouki… All three much simpler, less strength needed for the action…
But eventually, I don’t know how, the guitar clicked. I was actually fed up with going to acoustic clubs when travelling and not being able to play because I didn’t play an instrument that was generally available to borrow.
And so I went all in. Guitar only. Standard tuning only.
And honestly, I haven’t looked back.
